Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Unemployed...For Now! application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for adults aged 18 and older residing in the United States. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these age and location requirements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility criteria.

3. Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the data collection and usage practices described therein.

4. User Accounts

You may register using email and password or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Account deletion is available through the App settings, with data handled per the Privacy Policy.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post or transmit illegal or harmful content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's network or servers
• Use automated systems to collect data from the App without authorization

6. Not Professional Advice

The App does not provide and should not be considered a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, tax, or career advice. All unemployment-related information should be verified with your state's unemployment agency. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988(Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

7. Third-Party Content & Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites and resources provided for your convenience. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party websites or services.

8. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Purchases are charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription unless required by applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to us in the preceding 12 months, or $10, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Colorado.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
